No tiny office kitchenette, no cramped restaurant corner — a professional 70 m² cooking studio where 8 people stand comfortably around one island. All equipment, coffee and tea included. Cooking teachers and caterers are welcome.

We rent the kitchen to experienced cooking teachers and caterers who bring their own programme. Use it for team events, hen parties, client evenings or a course series. The space is private — your group has the whole studio to yourselves.

How many people fit in the kitchen?
Comfortably up to 8 participants around the cooking island. For demo-style events (chef demo + dining) up to 16 people.
Can we bring our own teacher or caterer?
Yes — we encourage it. We also know chefs who work here regularly; ask for our recommendations.
How far is De Proefklas from Amsterdam?
15 minutes by car via the A8/A7 from Amsterdam Noord. By public transport, it's about 25 minutes from Amsterdam Central to Zaandam Vlielandstraat.
What does a half-day cost?
Half-day (4h): €345 excl. VAT. Full day: €495. Evening until 22:00 available. We offer custom rates for recurring bookings.
