A real kitchen for people who work with food.
De Proefklas is the rental kitchen of Culinair AnnoNu, the culinary company of chef Tjitze van der Dam in Zaandam. We built the space the way we like to work ourselves: spacious, well-lit, with good equipment that takes the work off your hands rather than asking for patience.
Since then independent chefs, food brands, agencies, schools and teams regularly use the space for workshops, shoots, dinners and R&D projects.
Built by a chef, for professionals
Tjitze van der Dam worked in top kitchens such as the Waldorf Astoria and Ron Blaauw and won gold twice at the Culinary World Cup. We hold the kitchen to the same standard: everything works, everything is ready. No chef of your own for your workshop or dinner? We'll connect you with the right person from our network.
Why Zaandam?
15 minutes from Amsterdam Noord, with free parking at the door and good public transport. Far cheaper to rent than a comparable space in Amsterdam, with the same equipment — and without the bustle. Our clients come from across North Holland and the Randstad.

From Amsterdam Central in ~25 min by sprinter to Zaandam Kogerveld or Zaandam Centraal, then 5 min on foot or by bus.
